Frequently Asked Questions
Management of the "Friends of the Park" scheme was carried out by volunteers. The number of members has grown over the years and it became very
time-consuming and expensive to issue hand-written membership cards, post them out to people and collect payments. The new system relieves the burden on volunteers,
creates less waste and puts members in control of their membership.
You register on the website and then purchase a 12 month membership. If you have been a Friend of Orton Bradley Park in the past, you
probably have an account in the new system already. If you're not sure, just email us to find out. You can renew your membership online and download your
digital membership card.
Payment is by bank transfer. If you have paid in the past,
you must ensure that you use the NEW bank account number. Details of how to make
your payment are shown in the
video and also on the Payments page when you get there.
The system will send you an email two weeks before your membership is due to expire. You can also sign in to the website and
check for yourself.
If you are asked to present your digital membership card, you can either show staff a printed copy or show them the QR code on your phone.
